Household goods moving industry software: customer damage · Aug 17, 2026

ClaimDock

ClaimDock is a mover-side damage claim intake and deadline-compliance tool that turns a customer's photo upload into an auto-tracked, FMCSA-deadline-compliant settlement letter.

The problem

Small and mid-size moving companies track customer damage and loss claims by hand in email and spreadsheets because the CRM/dispatch software they already use only bundles claims management into enterprise, van-line-agent tiers, so they routinely miss the FMCSA-mandated 30-day acknowledge and 120-day disposition deadlines and use inconsistent released-value math, risking regulatory complaints and reputation damage.

The wedge

A standalone, mover-agnostic claims workflow layer (public photo-upload intake link, automatic statutory deadline tracking, released-value settlement calculator, and auto-drafted acknowledgment/settlement letters) that bolts onto whatever CRM or spreadsheet a mover already runs, priced per truck far below switching to an enterprise van-line platform like SmartMoving or Supermove just to get claims tools.
