Home services vertical SaaS: payout benchmarking and appeal tooling for independent HVAC, appliance repair, and plumbing contractors who take jobs from home warranty companies (American Home Shield, Cinch, Choice, First American, Old Republic) · Aug 16, 2026

PayFloor

PayFloor is a payout benchmarking and appeal tool for home warranty network contractors: it turns each new authorization into an instant fair-pay check against what other contractors are getting for the same repair, and generates the appeal to fix it when the check comes in low.

The problem

Independent contractors who take home warranty network jobs routinely get authorized payment amounts below their real cost or below what other contractors get paid for the same repair, with no benchmark to point to and no standard way to build an appeal, so most just eat the loss or quietly stop taking that warranty company's work.

The wedge

A contractor-side layer that sits alongside whatever dispatch portal (like ServiceBench) the warranty company already forces the contractor to use, flags authorizations below the crowdsourced community benchmark for that company, repair type, and region, and auto-drafts a ready-to-send appeal in that warranty company's own format.
