PlateProfit turns a restaurant's own POS sales data into a menu pricing plan it can act on this week.
The problem
Independent restaurants generate all the sales-mix and cost data needed for real menu engineering inside their POS, but have no analyst time or affordable tool to turn it into a pricing and menu decision, so they either guess or do it by hand a few times a year in a spreadsheet.
The wedge
Connects directly to the POS a restaurant already runs (Toast first), uses AI to generate a plain-English quarterly action plan with dollar-impact estimates plus ready-to-use rewritten menu copy, and is priced for a single independent location through the Toast/Square App Marketplace instead of Tastewise's enterprise CPG pricing.
